Nuria Castan, Rider Team Völkl Snowboards team rider, already knows its starting position in the ranking of the Freeride World Qualifier, after three seasons in the junior category (Freeride Junior Tour), after obtaining the second position last season and being in the final ranking in 2nd position, he has managed to pull himself in 15th with a total of 92 riders in the Freeride World Qualifier 2016.

It is the first time that a rider from the Junior category and continues his sporting career in the Circuit FWQ, and get a high position within the FWQ ranking official.

Nuria Castan got several podiums last season; a 1st place in Chamonix (France), a 3 rd in Fieberbrunn (Austria) and two 4th place (World Championship in Andorra and Verbier-Switzerland FJT) in tests 3 * and 4 *, allowing you to get a total of 2800 pts. that being approved and recognized in the Senior category (Qualifer) will allow you to start in a prime position for a young rider in his first year in the category Qualifer.
