
After two months of training without official competitions, Nuria Castan rider of Völkl Snowboard Team International, finally she can start to compete in the FWQ.
This Friday begins for Castan a very important week to assess their level within the FWQ, in the category of Snowboard Woman.
She will have ten days very intense days, will travel on Friday, along with her coach, Marc Grajera, to Vars in France, in the French Alps on Sunday 31/01, will be held a contest of 2*, it’s the first time that she travel this season and will be a good preparation for next Saturday, the goal of those ten days is the contest of 4 * in Les Arcs (also in the French Alps).
On Sunday once finished the competition in Vars 2 *, Castán will travel to Les Arcs, where he will participate in three more competitions, on Tuesday and Thursday (2 and 4 February) two contest of 2 * in Les Arcs, waiting for the big contest of this start of competitions, which will be Saturday 6 february in Les Arcs too, will be the first time that Castán participates in a contest of maximum level in FWQ 4*, above this level are only Freeride World Tour (5 *).
With this tight schedule, with a total of three Contest of 2 * and one of 4 * in 9 days, Castan expected good weather so there are no more cancellations of competitions, that the snow is at the best state possible and to have lucky at the start of 2016 season in the top level of Freeride in the World, on the European circuit.
For the next weekend, February 13, Castán will move to Lizum near Innsbruck (Austria), in this Ski Resort, also new for her, to participate to the next contest, that this case will be 3 *.
During the month of February, they are to be concreted other competitions as are, Sogndal of 4 * in Norway, Montafon of 3* in Austria and Val d’Aran of 2 * in Spain.
